To celebrate the 30th Gate
to Southwell procession since its revival in 1981, our
intrepid archivist, Andy Padmore, has written a
thourough and detailed history of the event.

The story starts with the original procession in 1109
and brings the story up to date with the 2009 procession
- the 900th anniversary of the first one!
